"The presence of Michael Jackson is very exciting for us," Melissa Corken, founder of the awards, told the Associated Press. The annual event is most famous for taking place in Monaco before it moved to America in 2004 and 2005. "We are thrilled to be bringing the World Music Awards to London, the music capital of the world." As well as the presentation of Michael's award there will be performances from Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Katie Melua and Andrea Bocelli. Actress Lindsay Lohan is said to be hosting. Fans looking to purchase tickets for the event can do so from Ticketmaster.co.uk from Tuesday. Billy Bush of Access Hollywood, and his executive producer Rob Siverstein met Michael and Will.I.Am in Dublin, Ireland recently while they were working on some tracks. Bush was there to do an interview, but not much came of it as Michael was reluctant to answer questions. Instead, recording studio work was filmed with only a few questions here or there. "When the music was rolling and he didn't have me asking him questions, one could see sparks of life and energy," Bush commented. "He hummed a little and at one point got up and walked to the back of the room where he could move a little to the music... he was almost dancing." Michael was staying at a cottage in the countryside with his children. A little fact that seemed interesting to the Access Hollywood reporter who spoke to the owner of the cottage was shared, "Michael gets up in the morning and makes breakfast for (the children) usually porridge and fruit." There is more to come from Bush's meeting with Michael next month according to his Access Hollywood web page: Billy's Blog. Although it has been confirmed Michael is working with Will.I.Am, it remains to be seen whether any collaboration will make it onto Michael's much talked about next album, due out late next year. October 12th, 2006 Michael Jacksons representative issued a statement: "Mr Jackson has not visited St Tropez in recent years, nor has he donned a woman's hat and pumps for disguise." Yesterday's New York Daily News and today's British tabloids published headlines with photos supposedly of Michael Jackson skin tight jeans, high heel shoes and a woman's hat walking with a girl who was meant to be his daughter Paris.
