Monday,
August 28, 2006 The fire broke out near the amusement park according to the Santa Barbara News-Press, however no damage was done to the rides. The flames were fuelled by light brush and grass. Officials also confirmed that there was no evacuation, of staff present or of the animals living at the ranch. "The animals are being taken care of and there are no problems with them," said county Fire Department Captain Keith Cullom. Michael Jackson was not present of course, as he has been living overseas since last year, but some of his staff were - including a private fire crew that tackled the fire until county officials could respond to the emergency call. Firemen put out the huge blaze by 7:30pm through several procedures, including using a helicopter to drop water on top of the inferno. Officials are still trying to figure out how the fire started.

August 08, 2006 According to Michael's spokesperson Raymone Bain, the documents show "one of the biggest conspiracies in entertainment history." Like many of his fans Michael was "neither shocked nor surprised" and was always "suspicious that some of those whom he entrusted to act on his behalf, and to advise him with respect to his personal and business affairs, may not always have acted in his best interest." However it is still unknown who exactly were the former associates trying to bankrupt him, but Michael and his team are "trying to find out." Michael plans to tackle these backstabbers by filing several legal actions through his new legal advisors and "there is a strong possibility that these documents will be forwarded to the US attorney general for review and possible involvement."
