Pepsi launched a new beverage called SoBe Life Water with an advertising spot at the Superbowl on the 3rd of February. The ad was created in conjunction with the release of Thriller 25th Anniversary and centers around the theme and catchphrase “Thrillicious”. The light hearted, humorous ad features Naomi Campbell and some colourful lizards dancing to Michael Jackson’s hit track, “Thriller”. In addition, Pepsi launched an interactive website, http://www.thrillicious.com/ which features high-quality downloads of the minute long advertisement and further episodes from the ad campaign.
So far, the “Thrillicious” advertisement has received almost 800,000 views on YouTube; more than any other advertisement shown at the Superbowl.
