My Michael Jackson Memory

The news of Michael Jacksons sudden death is still sinking in.

My best memory of Michael was at the Killer Thriller Party in London, June 2002. The previous day we had headed to Exeter, where Michael was appearing at the football ground but had got stuck in a 4 hour traffic jam and so had to turn back.

The next day Michael was appearing in London at The Killer Thriller Party put together by King of Pop magaizine. He appeared on stage and spoke to his excited audience and watched the show from a balcony in the nightclub. Just seeing him standing on stage was a truly a magical experience and that I'll never forget. There was just an amazing aura about him seeing him in person. The child prodigy and adult Thrilling Superstar.

However, when the party was over many of the fans, myself and my wife included decided to hang around. It was a no brainer Michael was still in view on the balcony!!!

After a few minutes he came over to the edge of the balcony, probably because fans were calling or chanting. He started waving at a few of us excited fans. My wife was calling out "Thankyou Michael"!! "Thankyou Michael". It waslike he really appreciated the fans adoration.

Fans directlly below the balcony were trying to pass Michael gifts or banners and Michael was reaching down to get them. Some he couldnt reach so he climbed over the balcony!!!! He then started really reaching down to the mega excited fans. His security looked amazed and worried trying to grab hold of him to stop him falling.

It was a spontaneous act by Michael. The fans loved it. I loved it.

Many other fans have personal stories of meeting Michael or being sent Pizzasby him when waiting outside his hotel.

If you in a state of grief of feeling down it can help to write down and share your memories. Whether they are of seeing Michael in person or just relating to his music or performances.

Michael Jackson is the King of Pop. This is not a title that he gave himself. It was given to him by his millions of fans around the world and by his peers, among whom he has no equal. How did he get the title, you ask? He came by it the old fashioned way. He earned it! No other performer in history has generated the massive sales that he has. No other performer in history has received as many awards and accolades as he has. Michael Jackson DVD No other performer in history draws the kind of excitement and mass hysteria that he does. And no other performer in history has done so much in the way of humanitarian efforts than he has. There has never been one like him before, and there will never be one like him again. He is in a class all by himself.

Firstly, I salute your effort in putting together allmichaeljackson.com. Its a phenomenal effort.

I write from India, and I write of the time he was expected to perform in India. His original schedule was to visit New Delhi and Mumbai, which later changed to only Mumbai for some reason. I was heartbroken. I had saved for 3 months to buy that ticket only to see it being refunded. I didn't want the money back, I wanted to see MJ perform.

Today is still not sinking in, and I dont think it will for a while. The first cassette i ever bought was 'Bad' and it was the best purchase I had ever made for a long long time. The value of the cassette just went up a few million notches today. I never stopped believing in him, no matter what image the media gave to him. No one can ever replace the man in the mirror.

This post is by far the most i have written in a while, and I am glad i can share it here.

MJ, Rest in Peace.

When I was 9 years old, my mother woke me up from a deep sleep one night She was saying "WAKE UP! Hurry! Hurry! Come watch... Michael's on!". We ran downstairs to see...it was the night of Motown 25 and the Jackson 5 were ending a medley of songs, having just reunited on stage for the big show. Then it happened...He returned to the stage alone to sing Billy Jean in what was simply the greatest musical performance of all time. At 35 years old now I have yet to have see anyone come close.

I am still in disbelief. It was just so sudden and just when he was planning to give us one last finale, one I was so looking forward to. I have let my sadness go however. We were lucky to have been graced with the King of Pop who will never be replaced. He reigns on in the music that not only rocked one generation, country or class but millions all of us around the world. The amazing music he gave us when I was 9 is that timeless...my daughter at 9 years old now can't get enough MJ. He was so young but he led a life with great success along with great sadness. His beatiful soul can finally rest and be at peace. Let's celebrate his life, the life of a true legend.

Hi all...I am still in shock over MJ leaving us. I was upset at the comments of P Diddy and Jamie Fox Sunday night. That is not Michael and he would have condemned the statements. Michael wanted love and unity regardless of color. We have to make that happen. RIP Michael they can not bother you anymore. God bless his children, family, and us his fans. I am getting items from Amazon to show the world that I supported and loved Michael and to help make his visions come true as we the fans stand as one to show the world what real "change" is all about. For me it was a slow hit. I was on my way into work when I heard on the radio that Michael Jackson was rushed to the hospital with a suspected heart attack...I thought oh oh that doesn't sound good. When I got into work a co-worker announced to all of us that Michael Jackson died...I really couldn't believe it...like the rest of the world...that a force to be reckoned with on stage, an exceptional and out of this world entertainer, left us so suddenly and much too soon. I mean Seriously? All these memories came flooding back to me of being in highschool and my friends getting me the double cassette deck version of Michael's History Album. It was that album that truly teleported me into the wonderful world of Michael Jackson. Of course I always loved Thriller, Bad, Beat it, Man in the Mirrior, but being able to hear his music come together from a past to present sequence was an incredible experience. I was so hooked on that album I played to till my tape one got eaten by my player....with the recent news I discovered that I was a bigger fan of Michael Jackson than I had realized. I can honestly say now that I'm devistated over his passing. I never knew the man personally, but the heavy sadness I feel in my heart makes me question myself...how can I feel such sadness for someone I never really knew or met...but I guess since I fell in love with his music, I fell in love with him...he was his music, every note every cord every "ooo" and "ah" and "hee hee".
I'm a musician myself and to see such incredible talent leave this world in such an untimely manner is mind numbing. What has really pearced my heart is hearing the words of those who truly knew him best. My heart hurts for his closes friends and family who knew Michael out side of his fame and the mega star that he was. He was still only human, super human on stage but still a person just like any of us, suffering through this life with its ups and downs ...only difference was that he lived in the spotlight...every good or bad thing he did was subject to scrutiny. What a way to live! What also cuts me the most is that with whole molestation thing, there is no doubt in my mind that whole ordeal cut him deeply right to the heart. He loved children and by accusing him of such vile things was like attacking his very soul. I wonder if he ever recovered from that.

What keeps me smiling now admist the sudden sadness and sorrow that unleashed itself on my life is knowing that all I have to do to experience MJ even though he's gone is to pop his CD into my player and there he will forever be, in my heart, in all of our hearts, our minds and our souls. Michael, thank you for the gift of your music. L

I thought I wasnt MJ's fan until now. I mean, when I was growing up, I have listened to a couple of his songs, and while looking upon his poster have mistaken him for a white woman.. Even, when I first heard about his death, it didnt affect me that badly.
But ever since, I googled him ( more out of curiosity, i admit ) , i cant stop thinking about him or his incredibly painful life. I went thro all of this home videos just to hear what he had to say .. I totally, totally feel for this amazing human being !! I saw his music videos which I think are pretty great !
I feel sad that when he was alive, I didnt try to get to know about this great person better.
The amount of charities he supported, that shows he must really been a incredibly kind and compassionate man. What the world doesnt understand, it doesnt forgive !!
Poor micheal !! I love him !!!!!!!!!
Wish I had emailed him that when he was alive..
I hope you have reached eternal peace !!!!

I am so sad Mickael Jackson left us. 13 days have passed, and this is only now that i can cry, i am so depressed. how can the earth goes on turning on itself without Mickael Jackson ?
the sun doesn't shine like before without him, a feel so alone, as if life had no interest anymore. Don’t want to go on holidays. What for, now ? don't want to hear laughters.
i am the first surprised by the pain i feel, because i was not especially a fan, but i really liked him, his smile, his kindness, the way he used to dance like a god. i also felt so sorry for him for all the horrible things the media said about him, for these disgusting trials he had to endure, for all the mean and jaleous people who wanted to put him down. they didn't succeed, but they hurt him anyway.
noone can replace him. i don't want to go to any other concert, i just want him back !
i hope he won't be burnt but buried so he could possibly be, thanks to science, reborn, recreated.
R.I.P. Mickael Jackson, we will always love you, exactly as you are, with all your transformations, you are and will stay still so handsome. you are such a good person, shy and lovely, far from other arrogant artists. your music, your songs, your performances on stage were so unbelievable, just miraculous. I love you and will alway love you with all my heart. Isabelle, 33, Paris (France).

I think about him constantly and am in a state of grief I don't know will go away. I wish I had got to see him live, hell even if he was just standing somewhere waving. I grieve for many reason, but that is one of them. I have been a fan, but I regret never getting to a concert, I was younger and really had no way of getting to one on my own, let alone money.

What gets me is that there is no other megastars left, he was the last legend and he is gone, NO ONE will evoke that kind of frenzy he got from fans. It was amazing to actually watch the fans and see how they respond to just a wave. I will miss that pandemonium.

Requiem (To Michael)

I can’t believe that you are died.
But it is true. I say “Good-bye,
Good-bye, my love. I’ll see you later”.
I think we have inseparable fetter.

I take your hands; and they are cold.
I can’t forget your brown eyes.
Your eyes for me have had a hold,
And soon it will become white ice.

You could inhale into my heart
Your dreams, ideas, inspiration.
Yes, you must live, you only play a part.
I want to hear your quiet respiration.

I will remember our madness in the spring.
It warms my heart, without you, for sorry.
And up to now on my finger is your ring.
It means that I will come. Don’t worry!

i am deeply sad, i can't stop crying every night. since i was 12 years i love all his music, and really inspired me, i fell in love with him since i was 12 and now i'm 35 years old. the only words i can describe him, he is an extra ordinary gentleman. sweet, loving and kind. a very generous man, that media try so hard to break him. i am very very sad. i can't explain my feelings. Michael, i just want to tell you how much i love you, and if i could have one wish,
If I could have just one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine...
Knowing that I could never find that feeling
with anyone other than you.
Michael Jackson you are truly sweet, and kind.. your words, your music, your action, and everything what you've done in this world.
Your Humanitarian and charity will give you way to heaven.
i love you and i will always love you.. it
doesn't matter some ignorance hate you but what matters most is your kindness and generosity. you will live forever in our hearts. i love you so much..

Michael Jackson’s Accuser "Discredited" in 2005 Case
Airdate: 7/13/2009
He was the star witness at Michael Jackson’s child molestation trial, but the jury didn't buy the accuser's lurid story of sexual abuse.

So why did they reject his testimony?

Lawyer Tom Mesereau defended Jackson during the grueling five month trial in 2005. Speaking with INSIDE EDITION he says he felt the accuser, 13-years-old at the time sheriff's deputies shot the deposition video, was just not believable. “I spoke to the jury foreman after the trial and he told me they looked at that taped interview in the jury room and they discredited everything he was saying - that they had problems with his demeanor, problems with his answers.”

He continues, “I felt like he was prepped for that interview before the cameras started to roll.”

The boy, a cancer survivor, testified at Jackson’s trial as did his mother.

At the trial, Mesereau painted the family as con artists.

Jackson was acquitted of all ten charges.

In a news conference after the verdicts, the jurors were asked if they were persuaded by Mesereau's portrayal of the family as grifters.

In a press conference, a juror spoke up. “Things just didn’t add up. So yes, the thought was there several times.”

Mesereau says that during the trial, the fate of Jackson’s children was uppermost in the singer's mind.

“He was terrified over what would happen to his children if he were convicted. This was a very, very stressful situation for him,” says Mesereau.

And he says Jackson’s mother, Katherine, will be a superb guardian for the children now that their father is gone. “She will be fabulous. She is an absolutely wonderful woman - kind, gentle, very spiritual. She was Michael's strength in that trial. She's a wonderful lady. It's a great choice for a parent.”

HE IS TRULY INNOCENT .. HIS FIRST CASE AND LAST CASE..
