37 New Song Lyrics Added

The last few days I have been working on expanding the song lyrics section of allmichaeljackson.com. Until now I just had the lyrics to all the songs on Michaels solo albums as an adult artist from Off The Wall to Invincible.

Alot of people seem to check out the lyrics section of my site so I thought it was high time I improved this and bought it fully up to date with lyrics for every song I can think of that Michael has produced as an adult artist. Some of the lyrics I added are for unreleased songs that have been leaked one way or another.

Actually I still haven't heard all these unreleased songs. I could probably find them all on the net in just a couple of hours but I like to discover new things over time. One song I discovered this week was "If You Dont Love Me" which is an outake from the Dangerous album. Its one of my favourite unreleased songs, pretty catchy as well. I'll add it to the site in due course.

In total I've added the lyrics to 37 new songs, so thats increased the section by nearly 50%!

One thing I'm undecided about is whether to add the lyrics to Michaels first solo albums he made with Mowtown, such as "Got To Be There" and "Ben". It would then make my lyrics section the complete Michael Jackson song lyrics, although I orginally made the site to be looking at Michael as an adult artist where he was in control of what songs he chose to sing etc, which wasn't the case when he was at Motown.

If anyone has any views feel free to let me know.

Godfather of Soul dies Christmas Day

One of Michael Jacksons greatest influences, James Brown "The Godfather of Soul" died on December 25th 2006. I only read about it today. Cause of death was heart failure bought on by pneumonia

Michael used to immitate some of James Brown moves when he was young and can be seen doing so in some Mowtown audition film footage.

James Brown was simply amazing, even this year 2006 he was doing his Seven Decades Of Funk World Tour, an amazing performer even in his 70s.

Michael Jackson released the following statement regarding his death:

"I am extremely shocked and saddened by the death of my mentor and friend, James Brown. Words cannot adequately express the love and respect that I will always have for Mr. Brown. There has not been, and will never be another like him. He is irreplaceable.

I send my love and heartfelt condolences to his family."

Christmas MJ TV, MJ and Xmas songs

Its been a busy couple of weeks and I haven't updated the site although I have plenty of ideas which will be put into action early in the New Year. Michael hasn't been in the news accpet for supposedly attending and event in Japan and then it being postponed.

Michael Jackson on Christmas TV
I just discovered today that over Christmas, ITV1 in the UK will be airing a new documentary on December 29th 2006 at 9pm, called The One and Only Michael Jackson.

Apparently it's a one off documentary looking at the "Magic of Michael Jackson" and looking into what made him the 1980's King of Pop. It certainly sounds like something worth looking forward to and its on for 90 minutes!

Michaels Christmas Songs
Christmas is nearly upon us and its surprising how often I hear the Jackson 5's Christmas songs, "Santa Claus is coming to Town" or "Frosty the Snowman" in shops or at friends houses on the Xmas compilation cds.

In the Uk, only the "Santa Claus is coming to Town" was released as a single and only got to No, 43. Other than those ( the single and Jackson 5 Xmas album)I don't think Michael released any other Christmas songs.

Although Michael has had at least one UK Christmas number one, Earth Song.
The single released from Michaels HIStory double album went to the top spot on its first week and hit number one on December 9th 1995. It then stayed there 6 weeks.

Actually last week in the final of X Factor they pretty much killed the song for me.
They bought all the worst auditonees out to sing "Earth Song". This was because one of the auditionees had sung the song in the auditions. I can hear the "Aaaaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaaaah" now or the "ooo, ooo". Trust me if you didn't hear it it was bad. Thing is when I hear the original I can still hear there version in my head, so I think it will take me a while to forget that.

Actually I think its important to note the actual importance of that song. The lyrics and meaning of the song are of so much more significance now then when it was first released over 10 years ago.

Especially after this year which in the UK was a hot summer followed by the warmest autumn by far on record. Global warming really seems to be in full effect and who knows what will become of the earth in the future. Also Michael sings of "crying whales" and "elephants" which are more endangered now than ever.

Merry Christmas to Anyone reading!

Michael's Goddaughter arrested

Michael Jacksons goddaughter, Nicole Ritchie, who is also the adopted daughter of Lionel Richie was arrested on December 11th for drink driving.

I didn't actually know until now that she was Michael's godchild.

Michael and Lionel Richie have a long history together. Both were huge stars at Mowtown records. Lionel was lead singer on the Commodores and went onto to be a huge solo artist. Most notably they wrote "We Are The World" which has raised millions of pounds for famine in Africa.

This past Saturday Lionel starred in ITV's (UK television) "Audience with Lionel Richie Live". In one question he was complemented for his work on "We Are The World" and at the same time questioned about what it was like to work with Michael Jackson. Lionel said he didn't see Michael these days since he is not in the U.S. He remembered how him and Michael planned to write the song lyrics in just a few hours and that they were sprawled on a floor in a room crammed with boxes. Lionel then saw a Python, a huge snake, and gave the impression he was out of there and thats why it ended up taking days instead of hours to write the lyrics.

LOL, now that could only be a Michael Jackson story! In those Thriller days Michael pets were well known. He had a pet snake name Muscles that was even made into a toy as part of a toy range of Michael's Pets. Not only that Muscles the snake it inspired the song he wrote for Diana Ross - "Muscles" which was a hit single for her in the 1980s.

Judge throws out more claims

Parts of a lawsuit against Michael Jackson where thrown out by a Los Angeles judge this week.

Highlight of claims:
Daniel Kapon's claims against Michael that were thrown out:
That he was "repeatedly and forcefully sexually molested".
That he was beaten.
Forced to take drugs.
Forced drink alcohol.
Forced to undertake cosmetic surgery.

If those claims aren't crazy enough the 21-year-old also alleged Michael Jackson stole his lyrics and melodies over a ten year period beginning in 1987, when Daniel was four years old!!!

These claims are just so ludicrous and they highlight what some crazy people will claim. It also highlights what total crap Michael Jackson has to put up with.

I want my site to be about the music and entertainment. One day I will maybe put together details of many of these crazy claims against Michael to highlight people go after him for money or other crazied reasons.

Apparently a false imprisonment claim is still being considered. Daniel alleges he was held captive by Jackson between 1987 and 1991 at the singer's Neverland Ranch, his other Californian homes in Encino and Woodland Hills, and, occasionally, in a car. These allegations are expected to be heard in court on 4 June 2007.

How do they even get to court??????????????

Ludicrous claim against Michael thrown out of court.

A claim against Michael was thrown out of a Los Angeles court this Wednesday after a woman who described herself as "a black Jew born in Britain" and claimed that she was the mother of Michael Jackson's three children as well as writing 3,000 songs for him.

Well, celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the best selling album of all time - "Thriller" are starting, so this claim is fitting as its 25 years since Billie Jean was inspired by the exact same sort of claims. How do these claims even make it to court????????????
