This Is It Album
The first album to be released since Michael Jackson's death entitled "This Is It" which is the same name given to Michael Jacksons farewell concerts he announced earlier in March 2009, for a 50 date stint in London's 02 Arena. Michael died June 25th 2009, just weeks before the concert dates were due to start,
The soundtrack album is to be released to coincide with the international release of "This Is It Movie" which is to feature behind the scenes footage of Michael rehearsing for the concert dates.
This album is to be a double album, with the first half classic hits and a second cd of previously unreleased song versions. Included on the album is to be 2 versions of a single entitled "This Is it" which is thought to have originally been recorded around the time of the Jackson's Triumph album, but not chosen for the album.
The album will feature a 36 page booklet featuring exclusive photos of Michael in rehearsals for the "This Is It" concerts.
